“Rivers, Springs and Other Wild Things”

Friday, March 7, 2025 | 5 - 7 p.m.

Take a trip down the Ocklawaha and Silver rivers and area springs, including world famous Silver Springs, through a multi-medium show presented by five regional artists. From soapstone sculpture to award-winning photography to paintings and scientific illustrations, these artists highlight the water, fish and wildlife of our treasured wildlands.

The exhibit is designed to connect regional audiences with our valuable natural assets and educate them about the importance of conserving them for generations to come.

No RSVP needed to attend this month’s reception. Gallery admission is free and open to all ages. This exhibition will be on display March 7 through March 29, 2025.

Through mesmerizing imagery and masterful craftsmanship, these artists highlight the delicate beauty of our waterways, inspiring audiences to protect and preserve them for future generations. ~March 21: The Ancient Japanese Art of Printing Fish (Children’s Workshop) with Karen Chadwick ($15 Registration per person)

~March 21: The Silver Springs Story Film Screening with Mark Emery ($5 tickets at the Marion Theatre)
