UpCycled 4: Reclaimed & Remembered – Honoring Veterans Through Recycled Art

Join us for a powerful evening of art, reflection, and community as we celebrate the opening of UpCycled 4: Reclaimed & Remembered, a special exhibition honoring veterans through the transformative power of recycled art.
In celebration of America’s 250th Anniversary, local and regional artists have created original works using repurposed, reclaimed, and found materials to explore themes of patriotism, service, resilience, remembrance, and the enduring American spirit.
This inspiring one-month exhibition demonstrates how creative reuse — also known as upcycling — can transform discarded materials into works of higher artistic and environmental value. Through sculpture, mixed media, assemblage, and more, artists breathe new life into objects while paying tribute to those who have served our country.
MCA’s Block pARTy: Small Works, Big Impact.
Exhibit Dates: May 1 – 21, 2026
This fan-favorite exhibit features 12×12” works by local, regional, and national artists, all supporting MCA’s mission to fund arts programs, education, and opportunities across Marion County. On view at The Brick May 1–21, with a free Opening Reception on May 1 (5–7 PM).
🎟️ The main event: the VIP Drawing Party on May 21 (5–7 PM) – Enjoy an evening of art, tapas, drinks, and music—then at 6 PM, names are drawn and guests select their artwork live. Every ticket holder goes home with an original piece!
Tickets start at $50 (discounts available for multiple tickets). Remaining artwork available for $75 after the drawing.
