Since its launch in 2001, Horse Fever has brought together local artists, businesses, sponsors, and the community through life-sized, hand-painted horse sculptures celebrating Ocala’s identity as the Horse Capital of the World. The project has grown into a lasting symbol of community pride, creativity, and collaboration.

Marion Cultural Alliance’s Art in Business (AIB) program connects local businesses with local artists through professionally curated exhibitions, rotating artwork, and custom commissions. Whether you want fresh artwork throughout the year or a single signature exhibition, MCA handles the creative process from curation to installation—making it easy for your business to showcase art and support working artists.

For an annual investment starting at $3,000, MCA transforms your office, lobby, conference room, or public-facing space into a professionally curated gallery featuring original artwork by local artists.
Our team manages the curation, artist communication, artwork selection, installation, promotion, and rotation—giving your business a turnkey art experience without the work of managing a gallery yourself.

Every Artwork Supports the Arts
All artwork displayed through the Art in Business program is available for purchase.
When a piece sells, 70% goes directly to the artist and 30% benefits Marion Cultural Alliance and our efforts to support and grow the arts in Marion County.

Choose the Gallery Experience that Works for YOU
We understand that every business, space, and audience is different. MCA offers flexible Art in Business options designed to make participation both impactful and manageable.
OPTION 1 — Rotating Gallery
Starting at $3,000 annually
Host up to four curated exhibitions throughout a 12-month period, with artwork changing approximately every 3–6 months.
MCA manages each rotation, including:
- Artist and artwork selection
- Curation
- Artist communication
- Installation and deinstallation
- Artwork labels
- Promotion
- Artwork sales coordination
This option is ideal for businesses that want a continually evolving gallery experience and the opportunity to showcase multiple local artists throughout the year.
OPTION 2 — Annual Signature Exhibition
Starting at $2,000 annually (pricing based on scope)
Prefer to install artwork once and let it remain throughout the year?
MCA can curate one larger annual exhibition featuring multiple local artists, creating a cohesive collection specifically for your business and space.
This option offers the same professional curation and installation experience while reducing the frequency of artwork changes.
OPTION 3 — Customized AIB Experience
Customized pricing based on scope
Have a different vision? MCA can work with your business to develop a customized Art in Business experience.
Potential options may include:
- One featured artist for an extended period
- A themed group exhibition
- Seasonal or biannual artwork changes
- A combination of original artwork and custom commissions
- Artwork curated around your company’s brand, mission, industry, or community
- Special installations for new offices, renovations, or milestone celebrations
MCA will work with you to determine the approach that best fits your space, goals, and budget.
WHAT YOUR BUSINESS PROVIDES
To ensure each exhibition is displayed safely and professionally, the participating business is responsible for:
- Providing and maintaining an appropriate gallery hanging system
- Purchasing and installing the hanging system best suited for the space
- Maintaining the security and reasonable care of artwork while it is on display
- Adding Marion Cultural Alliance as an insured party
- Remitting the annual program investment to MCA
MCA will provide guidance on recommended hanging systems and artwork placement. MCA insures artwork during transportation and installation; once installed, the participating business assumes responsibility for the artwork until it is removed by MCA.
