Welcome to Second Saturday Art Studio at The Brick! Join us for a monthly workshop of arts & crafts making and fun play at Brick City Center for the Arts, home of MCA, from 12pm to 3pm on the first Saturday of each month.
Designed for all ages, Second Saturday Art Studio (SSAS) is a monthly open art studio / workshop where artists of all levels and ages are invited to CREATE while enjoying a serene studio session in our gorgeous gallery located in the heart of downtown Ocala. Inspired by #352Creates, a local movement which promotes the idea that creativity connects us and can engage / promote healthy communities.
We will have monthly art activities set up to help guide emerging artists create their very own masterpiece. Professional artists are invited to use our gallery as studio space to CONVENE and CREATE amongst other creatives. Our lovely adjacent courtyard will also be available for plein-air sessions. Saturday, March 13: Monochromatic Art Making!
FREE for MCA members & guests! Includes art activity, art supplies, and complimentary coffee & water. Professional artists are encouraged to bring their own set-up and materials of preference.
